Adrian competed in the Cup of Russia Grand Prix event. He scored 67.94 37.54 30.40 6.25 5.90 6.10 6.10 6.05 0.00 in the short program, putting him in 5th place. In the Free skate he scored 117.08 57.38 60.70 6.10 5.80 6.05 6.20 6.20 -1.00, placing 8th, which overall put Adrian in 6th place.

Adrian has a busy schedule leading up to the next season. He'll be at Rimbo ice camp near Stockholm in June, and in July he will training in Säffle, first at an off-ice training camp and afterwards, an on-ice training camp. He'll have a little break and then go on to Kaunus ice camp in Lithuania. In August, Adrian will be a guest at the Finnish national training camp. Following this, he'll then go to the Swedish national training camp! And if this is not enough preparation for the season ahead, he plans to go to Lake Arrowhead for 3 weeks.

In July we'll catch up with Adrian, have some training camp photos and some news about what he's been up to and how training is going.

25 - 26 March 2009

Adrian competed at the World Championships 2009 in Los Angeles, USA. He came 18th in the short program with 65.20 points and 18th in the Free Skate with 121.23 points. Overall he came 18th!

Unfortunately Adrian had to withdraw from the Nordic Championships, because one of his boots fell apart in Practice.

I’m going to work hard on being prepared for Worlds. Keep your fingers crossed that the new skates will work out and that no more injuries will get in my way. I think I’ve had more than my share of those this season.

Adrian came 21st in the long program with a TES of 43.72 and a PCS of 54.10. Overall Adrian finished in 18th place at this year's European Championships.

Adrian came 11th in the short program at the European Championships in Helsinki with a technical score of 36.20 and program component score of 30.25. He will skate his free program tomorrow evening, Thursday 21st January.

Unfortunately Adrian had to withdraw from the Swedish Nationals due to a cold virus.

Adrian is lying in 7th place after the short program at the NHK 2008. He came 7th in the FS, and 7th overall.

Adrian is lying in 3rd place after the short program at the Golden Spin of Zagreb. He will skate second last in the final group tomorrow.

Adrian placed 9th in the free program and 6th overall.

Skate America 2008 : Adrian is lying in 5th place after the short program and will skate his free program later tonight. The short program is available to download in the media section. In the free program Adrian came 9th, putting him in to 7th place overall. Considering his injury and lack of optimum training leading up to the event, it is not a bad result. The free program is available to download fom the media section.

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I have an injury which started at the beginning of summer because I did my new programs with my new skates and it was really hard for my foot. Since then it has become very painful every day, so that's why I'm resting now. My doctor said it's inflammation, and I need to be off the ice for 2-3 weeks, but everything depends on how my foot heals. Now I'm trying out some extra silicone in the skate, so the skate is softer around the area of the injury, and I really hope I can start skating again on Monday.
I will try at least. I'm doing off-ice exercises and dance, so I hope I'm in good shape to compete - but it all depends on how it feels on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Message from Adrian:

The last few weeks, I have just been practicing. I started my on-ice season in the USA four weeks ago. I was there for 2 weeks for practise and it was good. I met a lot of friends there. Now I'm back in Sweden and practicing here. I'm trying to get back in to my pre-operation shape. My biggest problem at the moment, right now, is my endurance which I develop a lot, but at the moment I'm not in shape to compete at all. But I hope I get it soon. At the moment it's all open regarding my first competitions. Right now I'm searching for and drawing some tattoo ideas - which I will have on my new free program costume. Later today I will go to physical training.
